The National Federation of the Blind of Alabama Wishes to express our sincere appreciation to you for participating in the “Family Reunion: Facing the Future Together” Convention. We trust this collaboration has been mutually rewarding. Your presence has enriched our time together. As we come to the close of another successful convention, we pause to convey our heart-felt appreciation to you.

Until next time, wishing you a prosperous year!

Special Thanks

  • Alabama Institute for the Deaf and Blind for providing Braille, ASL and Captioning!
  • Alabama Association of Blind Merchants for their donations to the hospitality room!
  • Alabama Department of Rehabilitation Services for providing print/braille material!
  • Effective Solutions for our video/audio needs! Southern Food Services for its generous contributions and unwavering partnership!

The NFB provides a loving, supportive, and encouraging family that shares in the challenges and triumphs of our blind brothers and sisters. This deeply held faith in one another sustains members during times of challenge and cheers on individual and collective successes. Love is the feeling that permeates our organization and pushes us to expect the best from each other.

One Minute Message

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want; blindness is not what holds you back.
